A man who forgot to buy special snow tires decided to go to the McDonald’s drive-thru on his snowmobile to order chicken nuggets.
In a video posted on his TikTok profile, content creator Maclain showed how the conversation went with the McDonald’s employee after he showed up at the drive-thru on his snowmobile.
He started by ordering his chicken nuggets before the employee asked through the intercom whether he wanted any sauce. Suddenly, the employee realized what was going on.
“What the heck? I wasn’t even looking at my [screen] when you pulled up. I didn’t realize you were on a snowmobile,” he said, making Maclain burst out laughing.
“Yes, sir. My car doesn’t have winter tires, so this is my mode of transportation, boss,” the TikToker joked next. “This is a first for me. [I want] two sauces and a drink.” After finishing his order, Maclain headed to the payment window.
In the comments section of the post, the employee showed up to share what he thought about the whole interaction. “Hey, I’m the guy who took your order. You definitely made my night,” he said.
Maclain’s video has already racked up more than 4 million views, along with over 700,000 likes and hundreds of comments from users who were entertained by the scene.
“Can we normalize the idea that a snowmobile is the best option during winter?” one TikTok user commented. “I mean… it’s called a drive-thru,” another joked.
“I’m surprised they served you. Once, a friend and I went through the McDonald’s drive-thru on horseback and they said they could serve us,” a third user shared.
